A short story about a bird, a cat and a dog - my dear pets(:

I never had the oppertunity to talk about my pet's special personalities, because every one of them is so unique and special (: Now that Gizmo the sphynx kitten arrived, the personality of 3 of my animal pets - my dog, Pizza, my c**katiel, Chooch, and Gizmo himself are resurfaced.

At the beginning Gizmo hated Pizza. After a few days, there has been a huge improvement. Gizmo began playing with Pizza! Both of them are like energy balls, so it's great that they're turning into best pals because they keep each other's company. Pizza for example, is much more exhausted and relaxed now days than before. And, I wouldn't want to know how me and my bf will suffer Gizmo's hyperactivity if Pizza wasn't exhausting him. Gizmo wakes me and my bf up at the middle of the night alot of times because he wants to play. It's very irritating and I hope it'll stop when he'll get older.

And when Pizza and Gizmo play with each other, it's just so funny to look at them! Pizza is like a gentle giant, he openes his mouth but doesn't really bite Gizmo, and Gizmo is always jumping on him. Pizza is always running after Gizmo and Gizmo loves it! They even almost fell alseep cuddled with each other, if only Gizmo didn't try to suckle on Pizza's nipples! (He really done that). It woken Pizza up so he got up lol.

And Chooch, God, she has the most princess like personality of all three. Chooch has demands. Yes, even from me and my bf. She never bitten me and my bf hard, I barely feel her bites but it's irritating still. Sometimes when I pet her head and cheeks, and in her opinion I don't pet her as she wants me to, she bites me (not hard) and then lowers her head (it's her sign that she wants a pet from me). And she's so jealous! Every time me and my bf lay together on the bed, just talking or hugging each other, she always has to fly over to us. She barely does this if one of us are on the bed, she does it when both of us are on the bed lol. But she's a bad tempered bird, you have no idea. When she's outside her cage and sits on a chair, alot of times I see her attack the chair, who knows what made her get so angry at the chair.XD The was another incident with her and my bf - my bf took her outside so one of the band memebers will see her. He left her on the stairs and went over the his friends. One of his friends said what she'll do if he'll begin to "growl" on my bf. My7 bf said probably nothing. But when he began doing it, Chooch suddenly began to jump down the steps towards that friend while openning her wings in a threatning way. She was pissed off! lol. She wanted to protect my bfXD when my bf put her on his hand she was ready to attack his friend. It was so funny. This bird has a very noticable personality.

She's still about 9-10 months old, she's not grown up and I can't really tell exactly if she's a girl or a boy, but I read alot about c**katiels, and they said that only a small percentage of females will learn how to sing. Most females are quiet. The males on the other hand, are very vocal. Chooch has the physical appearance of a female, and she acts like a female except for one thing - she doesn't shut up! She began learning to copy cat me and my bf and sing since she was 3 months old. She's a very intelligent bird, she learns really fast. And she always wants to learn everything. Even males are often very selective in what they want to learn to sing, and it takes alot of work to encourage them to say something. But Chooch - na ah. She wants to learn EVERYTHING. She even knows how to copy my laugh! Yeah, she laughs when I laugh -____- I think she's the smartest pet in the house relatively to the fact that she's a bird.

But there was one incident that made me really question myself if Pizza is perhaps the smartest of all, and he just plays himself dumb most of the time. Pizza and Gizmo were playing, then Chooch decided to land near Gizmo. Not only that, she actually turned her back to him and began to swish her tail as if to show off infront o him! Gizmo immediatly began to prepare to jump on her, when Pizza actually went over quickly, sat infront of Gizmo to block between Gizmo and Chooch. And when Gizmo tried to walk away towards Chooch, it's as if Pizza knew what will happen and stopped him by pushing him away with his nose. I was shocked to see that, is Pizza that smart? I knew that Pizza is VERY, but VERY self aware and self restrained for a dog. He knows how to control himself alot. When Gizmo is getting near his food he doesn't even growl, even if it irritates him. And he doesn't bite him hard when they're playing. But this - is he actually the peace maker in this zoo? Who knows, I believe it's kinda true (:

So that's how it is in here:

Pizza acts himself dumb most of the time, but in some way he is the most self awared to himself and his enviroment the most. He is very self restrained and he's such a lovely dog (:

Gizmo - He's onyl 2 months old, and he's with us only 2-3 weeks, so he's still building up his personality. He's very hyperactive, but he got used to Pizza very quickly. He immediatly knew where to do his feces. And when he's not in his hyperactive state, he loves to cuddle.

Chooch - small, but has alot of guts AND alot of ego! She's a none-stoppable, talkative b**ch! LOL! This bird has alot of lively spirit. (: We all love her, even Pizza! I just hope than one day she'll stop provocating Gizmo and stop coming near him (she always does that when he's near her, especially near her cage). I don't think she'll ever learn that she's so small and fragile.
