Recycled Items for Crafts

 Here is a list of things you can use again for crafts and games.  Will add more periodically. If you have an idea for something to recycle for crafts, please post here.

  • Toilet paper, paper towel, wrapping paper rolls 
  • Buttons-cut off buttons from clothes you are throwing away. 
  • Pieces of craft paper or wrapping paper
  • Cards you receive and going to throw away
  • string, thread, yarn pieces, fishing line
  • Fabric pieces-your child has a item of clothing that doesn't fit them and going to throw it away, cut up the item and let them incorporate the piece in a craft.
  • yogurt containers, bottle caps
  • boxes
  • bubble wrap
  • foam packing peanuts
  • soda, milk bottles, cans
  • cardboard from pads, men's shirts, boxes
  • scratched cd's
  • Empty cd and cassette cases
  • bows
  • small pieces of crayons
  • candle stubs or pieces
  • tissue paper
  • Popsicle sticks - washed
  • small plastic containers
  • magazines, junk mail
  • freezer paper or wax paper
  • Canisters: oatmeal, coffee can 
  • Plastic or wooden Eggs
  • Egg cartons
