OK THINK I am blogging

  So here is my attempt to blog for THINK. 

   SO I have been busy doing school with the kids and our social life has really picked up.  I feel like we have hit our stride.  I have had  a real issue relating to some of the other homeschoolers. I go to some of the functions and find myself just standing there ignored by the mothers.  Them in their loose fitting all natural fiber clothes .  I finally had to have a little face to face with one of the granola moms.  I tried to avoid it but it had to be done.   It  went down at the park Sullivan was on the gym part dropping mulch through the holes. When one of the other kids went under him Sully did not notice . The mother got very offended that her son got mulch on him and told her son to stay away from Sully. I went over and asked her what was wrong.  She was very rude. I had had it. I nicely informed her that I do not know what she thinks she knows about me or my children but we are both moms . She has more in common with me then she thinks. I informed her that she might think I am some unearth friendly person who is unaware  due to how I dress or what ever. But I used cloth diapers and wipes on all 4 of my children. My small house most likely leaves a smaller carbon imprint then hers. I drive a Subaru vs her SUV for her 2 kids. I breast fed all 4 kids for 18 to 24 months . I never ever fed any of my kids jar baby food. I have a garden we grow our own food from. I do not buy  premade food and that mya wrap your using you paid 50. I made mine.  . She did not say a word I also added that I used natural make up that is not tested on animals and I do wear natural fibers.  LOL  I am so sure I burnin up the gossip emails that night. But at the next function I was actually talked to. lol   They so crack me up.

 I was asked seriously! If I make my own laundry soap. I responded that in a pinch when I ran out I have used dish soap and vinegar  which worked ok. Well they gave me a recipe to "save me money"  Well first you have to order a bar soap off line and pay shipping, buy a bucket, and some other things. Now get this you have to grate this bar of soap and melt these things . UMM you add this all together and figure in time . There is no savings and your actually in the hole. Walmart great value for me. Yet at these functions they whine about how they have no time and are behind in things. No wonder. lol

 As for me  I just try to stick with what feels right that changes from time to time. But for right now the kids seem happy, Jim and I seem to be doing good. We are going to a church we all enjoy. Homeschool is going well. We are making new friends that share common interests and beliefs. As well as reuniting with some old friends .  I try to keep things calm and balanced. I think that is what works for me.
