If you count the weekends...

... I'm off work for 16 days!!!! The beginning of next week will be spent making Christmas cookie balls, grocery shopping, cleaning, exercising and staying in bed until 10 am everyday! I know this is weird, but I have decided to do only cookie balls this year. I'm making bourbon balls, coconut balls, peppermint candy balls, ginger-spiced balls and chocolate balls. I'll be a ball-rolling fool!

On Christmas Eve we always go to my parent's house. We don't get home until about 11:00pm or so and then there is the mad dash to do the Santa thing. We wake up way to early on Christmas morning and open presents and hang out. My family comes over to my house for Christmas Day dinner. This year it looks like we'll have my mom and dad, my brother and my aunt and my sister-in-law. A co-worker gave me a gingerbread house/train making kit. I think I'll break that out for the grandparents and aunt to do with Jordan.

Jordan is off school the following week. I'll stay home with him and see what comes up.

For the first time since 2005, my husband and I are going out for New Year's Eve. We're going to a club in Washington DC to see Robert Randolph and the Family Band.

I'm so happy these two weeks are finally here!
