Fantastic day at the Gaithersburg Book Festival!

I had the pleasure of taking part in the first annual Gaithersburg Book Festival today. It was very well organized, the volunteers were friendly and helpful, and the event was a great success! 

I shared a booth with my friend, another author, Donna Aviles, who is a lovely person and made the event even more fun. The wind almost blew out tent over several times, but we were quick to jump up and hold it down! It was too windy for the skirt I had chosen, so I went with the jeans I wore to set up, and the cinnamon almond aroma wafted over to us so many times that I finally had to buy them!

I met many interesting men and women, and felt very lucky to have had the opportunity to get to know so many! Events such as this bring together authors and readers, and I feel very blessed to have been part of it.

To any and all who bought a copy of Megan's Way, I hope you enjoy your tote bags and Megan's story. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hats off to the event organizers! I will definitely be back next year!
