I didn't until I started watching Million Dollar Listing tonight as they drove through Mulholland Dr, Sunset Plaza, Malibu and Corona del Mar (O.C.)  I forgot just how pretty on a clear day those areas were.  Found myself even sighing recognizing familiar streets and scenery.  Great...just what I was trying to avoid.  And I was doing such a good job of hating L.A. too!

Been a year

First Fall in New England

My family has moved to and from Massachusetts twice in the last two years. Crazy huh? Both times we moved in the middle of November missing the change of seasons and the beautiful fall colors that make New England famous. So this is my first official fall...something I have been looking forward to like a kid looks forward to the holiday season. Every day the leaves look more like they are on fire and just lights up my eyes and spirit. This place is just magical to me and I feel so fortunate to be living here.

Women make the best friends a girl could have

As I sit here reading the blogs of the wonderful women of the Nest, I can't help but beam with pride on how multi-dimensional women are..much more than males imo.  I really have learned to value womens friendships and associations so much more as a mature woman but also as a person that has had a hard time making and keeping friends due to moving so much over the last seven years.
