Ahh, hello Nester's,
How are you all?? I have been re-arranging my schedule and trying to find more time to do what I need to do. My focus this year has been on my family, art work, friends, and volunteer time. I have still found that there is not enough time in a day, week and soon even a month to complete all of my to do lists. I had a big goal of doing 5 pottery items every weekday to be ready for my summer selling........ that was just too big of a goal I guess, because I am no where near that.
As usual there has been no shortage of things needing my attention, but I seem to be managing everyone and everything well and still sleeping. So that's a good thing. I am skipping a bunch of things that happened over Thanksgiving but it was not my best so I'd rather just skip it all anyway. :) Everyone got fed and loved the food, so it's all good and all over with.
I love the rain, I love the sound of the rain, I open the windows everytime it rains. 
Good news first, I went in for surgery on Thursday for a breast lump that I have been watching since January and had refused surgery on 2 times since, requesting that they ultra sound it instead and watch it.

Oh the things I get myself into LOL!!
Ok, so I volunteered to help out with the school play, costume alterations, yea..........
um. it was unbelievable!! I left the house early each day, and got in late even after midnight everyday. I had no idea gas went to over $4 a gallon. We live close to the Creative Arts Center for our school, so I never needed gas just sleep!
Easter was great and the food was good, but the real smile for me was when everyone went home and I knew it was over and done and went well. Anyone else have those same thoughts? I finally got in a quick siesta Sunday evening and then went out in the yard till dark to divide some perennials that are just beginning to pop up. I love to garden, it makes me feel ZEN!
It's still going well, so many int eruptions, but I am done to the point of starting on a few special orders back in the pottery studio that I just have to start on! To be honest I think having the computer out of the bedroom is helping my sleeping!
Since arriving home from my ZEN vacation, I walked back into the house and had an Epiphany of how things could creatively flo better for me, so I have been really working hard lately rearranging everything to do with being creative and productive, it's been a big job still not done yet. Furniture, cupboards, lights, all things have been emptied and shifted and are in a state of re-do.
Having to break off for family things and to watch my sweet grand-baby this weekend did not help any. Hopefully tho I am in the home stretch.
Don't ya just love songs! I play music all day in the studio. Today was a long day and I am tired, but this is a real good tired. I love being tired because I got things done. My kiln got filled and fired and can be opened tomorrow night, I have been feeling so much better, and with my body being good to me I can really work. I like to work, I hate being forced to stop. So feeling groovy is a good thing.
Again just checking in, I have not been on line much, just trying to keep my mind busy and feeling a bit exhausted too. I'm not sure why but my energy is off kilter, and my fibro has been acting up more.
Sending love to all of you here at the nest and checking in, I have been up to my ears with stress and constant family phone calls while needing to stay off the home phone with the dial up we have, needing to be available to my mom with family stuff, we lost my dear Aunt this last weekend and its been hard on my mom.
I need some alone time, and I am not getting it..... things have been so busy, partly my fault keeping myself as busy as possible, but also with my husband and son here almost 24/7 with me I am not getting any alone time.
Just beginning to rest after a 3 day show, I worked it every day all hours it was open, helping with the staff. My feet are tired and I am so glad to be home. I had a great show. Thankgoodness for all the wonderful customers, I feel like my creative spirit has wings again! I worked all summer on a collection and did not put any of it up for sale until this weekend. And when I did it was well recieved, I had wonderful comments about my work and it was also purchased! YAY! I am so greatful that my hard work paid off.
