"My dream is to create an environment where women are helping women in every aspect of life through clear communication and understanding. Women across the world encounter the same hurdles in life whether it is related to family, nutrition, exercise, career, depression, illness, or simply coping with the many trials and tribulations of daily life.I hope that The Women's Nest offers a nurturing, educating, and safe environment for women of the world to unite and rejuvenate. It is through giving that we receive a peaceful soul." Melissa Foster, Thinkhappy.

Recently, Thinkhappy was asked how The Women's Nest was different than all the other sites for women on the web. This was her reply,
"I felt a more personal site was needed for women. A site that takes interest in each member, rather than just getting an onslaught of people to join. I try to read about each member and respond to their posts personally. We are based on the East Coast, and connecting women world-wide. We feel as though there is a real need for women to feel like part of a group, not just another one of the members. I do not hope to become the next ivillage. I hope to remain able to get to know each of our members, and meet their needs for our site. We host feature articles and experts, and I inquire often about what our members want. This is their community, it's just my idea.
I don't have much more of a slant than that. There are larger sites out there, many of them. But I think women want something more personal. Each member is missed greatly when they go a week without posting. It's about friendship, not just numbers - Escaping the chaos of our lives and trading it for a few minutes of "me time" - fun can make a huge difference for many women. I'd like TWN to be their escape....”
We are you, your neighbor, your aunt, your daughter, your friends. A community of women who supporting each other with advice, encouragement, laughter, and understanding.
